Semin pihenőt kapott, ezért volt egy kis váloztatás: DSP ment Mitchell mellé és Kassian ugrott be Semin helyére a második sorba, nyilván ez nem marad így. Leszámítva ezt a mozgást azt gondolom, hogy megvan a végleges kezdő. A kérdés már csak az, hogy kik maradnak még. A Fleischmann -DD - Weise sornak muszáj lenne együtt maradnia, ez a harmadik sor meccseket dönthet el.
Isty: DD tényleg egy jó kis playmaker, de semmiképpen sem első soros center. Mondjuk nekünk olyan nincs.
A szezont illetően bizakodó és optimista vagyok. Kezdődhetne már élesben is....

Scherbak is leküldve AHL-be. Ahogy várható volt, idén nem nyúlunk újabb fiatalhoz, csak esetleg beugrónak.
Végül is a csapat megvan. A def, a kapusposztot is beleértve szerintem teljesen rendben van, akár sérülés, akár eltiltás esetén is van kihez nyúlni.
Elöl kicsit kaotikusak vagyunk, MT úgy fogja keverni a sorokat, hogy szerintem még ő sem fogja tudni, hogy ki hol van éppen.

Ami tegnap este ismet meggyozott, hogy Plekanec-ben nem latok sok potencialt. Chucky sor megint villantott. DD sor megint veszelyes volt........sajat kapunkra is. Weise szepen bevagta Price-nak. LOL

Habs send nine more players, including Michael McCarron, down to AHL’s IceCaps

Canadiens general manager Marc Bergevin announced on Sunday that nine players have been reassigned to the St. John’s IceCaps of the American Hockey League, including Michael McCarron, the team’s first-round draft pick (25th overall) in 2013.
Other players sent down to the AHL were: Jeremy Grégoire, Darren Dietz, Joel Hanley, Daniel Carr, Bud Holloway, Christian Thomas, Gabriel Dumont and Morgan Ellis.
Holloway, Thomas, Dumont and Ellis all must clear NHL waivers.
After practice Sunday in Brossard, coach Michel Therrien said that McCarron still needs to work on his quickness, but added that the 6-foot-6, 231-pounder showed a lot of good things at training camp.
“He made a lot of progress since we drafted (him),” Therrien said. “It’s a process with young players.”
There are still 31 players at camp (18 forwards, 10 defensemen, three goaltenders), including four injured players: Max Pacioretty, Nikita Scherbak, Noah Juulsen and Michael Bournival.
Pacioretty, Scherbak and Juulsen all took part in Sunday’s practice in Brossard.
“I felt good … full practice with the team,” said Scherbak, the Canadiens’ first-round draft pick in 2014. “Amazing to be on the ice with the NHL guys.”
When asked if he was ready to play in a preseason game, Sherbak said: “Yeah, I’m ready. I just have to check with the trainers. I’m ready for preseason games. I’m very excited to play.”
The Canadiens announced later that Scherbak will be in the lineup Monday night when the Canadiens play the Pittsburgh Penguins in Quebec City (7 p.m., RDS, TSN Radio 690).
The Canadiens started practice at noon Sunday, but Pacioretty was on the ice 25 minutes early, skating by himself briefly before being joined by Torrey Mitchell to do shooting drills on the three goalies — Carey Price, Dustin Tokarski and Mike Condon.
Pacioretty is still recovering from a fractured left tibia suffered on July 9 during an offseason workout in Florida and hopes to be ready for the season opener Oct. 7 in Toronto.
Dale Weise, David Desharnais and Tomas Fleischmann were given the day off from practice Sunday and did off-ice workouts instead.

Condon nem okozott csalodast. Azt hiszem Tokarski panikolhat, nagyon rezeg nala a lec, sokkal magabiztosabbnak tunik Condon. Vedelembol Barberio kiemelkedett., PP -ben is sokat, es jol segitett. A Fleischman-DD Weise harmas ismet remekelt. Golveszelyt csak ez a harmas jelentett, fantasztikus ahogy DD LAT(!) a palyan. Big Mac csalodas volt szamomra, habar tarsak nelkul kuzdott. Iden meg nem tennem be a keretbe. Tinordi azt hiszem kezd meggyozni, hogy nem tobb, mint csereanyag, ha hamarosan nem szedi ossze magat. Tkeppen az elmult 4 meccs alapjan kirajzolodott a csapat. Egyedul Plekanec nem fog tetszeni ott Gally, es Pacioretty kozott. Jatszottak ok mar egyutt, es nem jott be a dolog. Semin - Cucky-Eller utos masodik sor lehet,Fleischman- DD-Weise harmadik sor, -szerintem egyutt tartjak oket, annyira jok. DSP-Mitchell-Kassian negyedik sor, es szerintem meg Flynn fog ulni a boxban. Vedelem adott, Barberio, es Tinordi boxban......meglatjuk.

One of the Greatest Goal-Scorers of All-Time Criticizes Jarred Tinordi
One of the greatest goal-scorers in NHL history and current TVA Sports analyst Mike Bossy had some pointed comments about the play of defenseman Jarred Tinordi.
Bossy said that Tinordi is simply not an NHL defenceman, while adding that he doesn’t think he’ll be on the opening night roster in less than two weeks’ time.
Tinordi has gotten off to a slow start through the first week of camp and in the preseason, as he’s been unable to build off his play from last season, which saw him perform pretty well in the circumstances he found himself in. With the likes of Greg Pateryn and Mark Barbeiro showing much better in camp, Tinordi could be on the outside looking in before too long.
But, if general manager Marc Bergevin opts to send him to the AHL, Tinordi will have to pass through waivers, and there’s a very good chance another team would take a chance on the 6-foot-6, 220-pound blue-liner.

Fleischman elég jól tolta. Ennek ellenére még győzött meg, egyáltalán nem vagyok biztos abban, hogy kell. Condon is tetszetős produkciót nyújtott.

Csak összefoglalót láttam és a statokat, de ez alapján DSP és Kassian elég soft volt.
Pateryn, Ghetto és McCarron viszont úgy tűnik, hogy szeretnének még komolyabb szerephez jutni, ennek örülök.

Two More Habs Forwards Succumb To Injury
The Canadiens continued training camp Monday morning at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard and two veterans were not on the ice for the session.
The duo of David Desharnais and Alex Semin have been added to the injured list, joining Max Pacioretty, Michael Bournival, Charles Hudon and Noah Juulsen as players that are currently banged up.
Semin has had a great start to his Habs career playing next to Alex Galchenyuk and with Lars Eller – the new Montreal winger scored no less than nine points in Sunday’s intra-squad afternoon game.
Hopefully both players can recover quickly and get back on the ice.

Habs Lose Top 4 Defender To Injury
Defenseman Nathan Beaulieu is being held out of Sunday’s Red vs White game at Bell Centre thanks to a lower body injury.
Beaulieu has not been impressive in training camp so far and this injury could explain the down performance.
The 22-year-old blue liner is hoping for a big training camp so he win a spot in the top four along with P.K. Subban, Jeff Petry and Andrei Markov.

Montreal Canadiens Stanley Cup champion passes away at age 49.
Todd Ewen played 11 seasons in the NHL for the St. Louis Blues, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, San Jose Sharks, and Montreal Canadiens, serving as a player representative for the NHLPA for three years.
Acquired by the Canadiens in the 1989-90 NHL season, Ewen spent the next four seasons with the Canadiens, his Habs career culminating in a Stanley Cup victory in 1993. In 190 games with Montreal he scored 13 goals and 19 assists, amassing 609 penalty minutes. He wore jersey #36 with the Habs.
Ewen retired at the end of the 1996-97 season after a 518-game NHL career, exploring secondary careers in real estate and coaching. His coaching career began in the city where he experienced his first NHL action: St. Louis. There, he served as a coaching director for a local hockey association and helped to develop coaches with USA Hockey. His most recent experience came serving as head coach of St. Louis University's hockey team, leading the Billikens to a Mid-American Collegiate Hockey Association championship in 2011.
He was recently interviewed for the Chris Nilan documentary The Last Gladiators which explored the psychological impact of being an enforcer.
Todd is survived by wife and Ewen Realty Group partner Kelli

Training camp for the Canadiens kicked off this morning at the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard, but one forward of note was not in attendance.
Forward Michael Bournival was absent from the first day of practice as he continues to battle post-concussion symptoms. Bournival suffered a concussion in the middle of last season, and the fact that he’s been unable to make a full recovery through the summer up to this point is a troubling sign.
Bournival hasn’t suited up in a game since February 28, and at this point the concern is very real that the 23-year-old centreman may be dealing with a very serious situation in regards to his hockey career.

When the Habs signed forward Alex Semin to a one-year, $1.1 million deal back in July, his arrival divided Habs fans in regards to whether or not he was worth it.
Will the Habs get the player that once scored 40 goals with the Washington Capitals, or will they get the player that struggled through two down seasons in Carolina? Hurricanes team president Don Waddell believes it’s the latter.
Waddell said that Semin is able to play at a slower pace, but is unable to keep up with a faster tempo, which forces him to linger out in the peripheral of the ice and away from the action.
